Our facility at Springside is a state-of-the-art facility that recently underwent a complete renovation. Our experienced staffs of compassionate caregivers, therapists, clinical experts, and dietary personnel are focused on one goal: providing an exceptional experience for our residents and patients. Requirements for Floating Nursing Supervisor:

Must possess valid unencumbered, RN State License and current CPR certification - we can assist NY nurses with reciprocity
Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center or other related healthcare setting preferred.
Must have minimum of one year experience in long term care
Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, and computer skills
Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred

Job Duties for Floating Nursing Supervisor:

Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges
Supervision of all 3p-11p Nurses and CNAs
Manage staffing changes
Support family inquiries and screen visitors
Coordinate patient/resident referrals with central admissions
Ensure high quality resident/patient care
Provide support to ancillary staff as needed
