Graduate of accredited nursing program
2-5 years ER or similar experience

A school-based Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity is available in Waterflow, NM, supporting K-12 students across multiple schools. This contract position runs through the current school year until May 29, 2026, averaging 37.5 hours per week, with an onsite presence required at all locations. Key responsibilities include providing first aid and basic healthcare to students and staff, administering prescribed medications and treatments, and supporting students with chronic health conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and epilepsy. The RN will maintain accurate documentation for health office visits, medication logs, and immunization records, assist with student health screenings, and contribute to IEP/504 plan implementation. Calm and effective responses to health emergencies and collaboration with school personnel, parents, and healthcare providers are essential elements of this role. The nurse will support 2 to 3 schools, requiring travel between school sites.
