For Example, Bronchoscopy, Cardioversion, CVC Placement, Intubation, Etc. Our patients include adult and Geriatric (No Pediatrics) Our Care team consists of a team that provides safe quality care: Registered Nurses, Certified Nurse Assistants, RN Case Managers, Medical Providers, Nurse Manager, Nurse Educator. Our PCM and Charge Nurses are available to support our clinical needs with access to education, resources, guidelines, and protocols. Our electronic medical record is EPIC. Ratios for SCU include 2:1 ICU, 3-4:1 Stepdown, 5-6:1 Med-Surgical-ICU Staff are cross trained to Med-Surgical Assignment during orientation. We operate 12-hour shifts, Monday through Sunday (24/7), including after hour nights, weekend, and holidays.
