What We Require:

  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with insurance.
  • Pass drug test, criminal background (Level 2 AHCA), and written competency evaluation.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with the elderly or frail population.
  • Preferred: Experience working with Alzheimer’s or Dementia.
  • TB test or Chest X-ray required.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living and provide companionship
  • Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair.
  • Perform light housekeeping activities.
  • Provide ambulation and transferring assistance as needed.
  • Plan and prepare meals.
  • Drive clients to appointments as needed
  • Medication reminders
  • Take and record vitals as needed
  • Follow nurses orders for Hospital at Home program
  • Pet care (varies by client)

Position Summary Performs patient care to patients under the direction and supervision of the Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
