Position Summary: 

The House Supervisor monitors, coordinates, and supervises the daily operations and activities. Acts as a resource for all the team members and works closely with other interdisciplinary teams to maintain best practice workflows and keep issues to a minimum. 

  • Supervises nursing staff, schedule shifts and their day-to-day duties on behalf of nursing leadership.
  • Perform administrative duties including scheduling nursing shifts.
  • Collaborates with other departments and programs to achieve interdisciplinary improvements.
  • Maintains a safe environment for staff and patients through awareness of surroundings and participation in the safety program.
  • Identifies and solves patients concerns, questions, and suggestions to ensure quality care is delivered. 
  • Collaborates to problem solve and make decisions to achieve desired outcomes
  • Establishes effective working relationships with cross-functional team(s)

Qualifications

  • Valid California RN License 
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Master’s degree preferred
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
  • PALS certification preferred
  • Three or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • One or more years experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity is preferred
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal relationships in a manner which enhances communication, promotes conflict resolution and facilitates staff development.
