GRADE INDV 0019 LOCATION OF POSITION MDH St. Mary's County Health Department 21580 Peabody Street Leonardtown, MD 20650 Main Purpose of Job The main purpose of this part-time contractual position will be to provide comprehensive, evidence-based psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to clients served by the School-Based Health Center. This position will support the agency's mission by promoting early identification and treatment of behavioral health needs, reducing barriers to care, and improving students' emotional well-being, academic success, and overall functioning. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the psychiatric nurse practitioner will also collaborate with medical providers, behavioral health clinicians, school personnel, families and community partners to deliver coordinated, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care in a safe and supportive environment. In addition, the psychiatric nurse practitioner will serve as the clinical lead of the SBHC BH team, providing oversight, consultation, and coordination of care to ensure integrated, high-quality services for students. Please Note : This position is part-time with 20 hours a week.
