Gold Crest Care Center is actively hiring a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for the afternoon (3PM-11PM), for our Skilled Nursing Facility in the Bronx, NY. We are seeking an experienced RN to oversee all aspects the facility, from supervising nursing staff to monitoring patient care. Extensive clinical experience a must, prior administrative experience and training in both nursing and administration. Responsibilities: Ensure that all nursing services personnel are following their respective job descriptions Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by monitoring confidential information processing Provides information to patients and health care team by answering questions and requests Completes patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing and staff; following up on work results Perform walking rounds to ensure nursing staff are providing the highest level of resident care possible Assesses residents upon admission and periodically as conditions change Obtains and implements Physician Orders, checking for accuracy and completeness Communicates between shifts regarding changes in resident/patient conditions Participate in Facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies as requested by the Administrator or Director of Nursing Services Plans, implements and evaluates the clinical competencies and on-going educational/orientation needs of the staff Ensure that a sufficient number of nursing staff is available for each shift to ensure that quality care is maintained Qualifications: Must have current NY RN license Must have experience in Long Term Care Must have supervisory experience Must have excellent leadership and communication skills *Competitive salary and benefits* About Us: Gold Crest Care Center is a 175-bed CMS rated 5 stars rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility located in the Pelham Gardens area of the Bronx.
