Overview

Somnia Anesthesia, a physician-owned and led anesthesia group, is looking for CRNAs to join our growing team at  St. Joseph's Medical Center in Stockton, CA. 

  • 1099 Compensation: 
  • >5 years’ experience = $195/hour  
  • 2- 5 years’ experience =$190/hour  
  • <2 years’ experience = $185/hour  
  •  Physician-owned and clinician-led anesthesia group on the local, regional, and national levels.

Practice Details   

  • Location: St Joseph's Medical Center - Stockton, CA 
  • Facility:  
  • St. Joseph's Medical Center – Stockton, CA (https://www.dignityhealth.org/central-california/locations/stjosephs-stockton)  
  • 8-room main OR, 2 OB OR’s, Cath/EP lab, Endo 
  • OB: 2,500 cases annually.  
  • 12-hour shifts, 7p-7a.   
  • Collaborative MD/CRNA model, CRNA’s work independently  
  • Schedule: Flexible 8-hour and 12-hour shifts, including call options. Post-call days off for in-house shifts.   
  • Scope of Practice: Full autonomy for CRNAs, including regional anesthesia, arterial lines, and central lines.   
  • 357-bed hospital with 12,500 annual cases covering a wide range of specialties: general, colorectal, ortho, spine, thoracic, cardiac, vascular, OB/GYN, plastics, ENT, podiatry, and more. 

Requirements of the CRNA 

  • Active state license | DEA | State CDS 
  • Board certification required 
  • ACLS | PALS | BLS 

Ambulatory Surgery Center:   

  • 5-OR ASC with designated GI suites.   
  • Cases include general surgery, GYN, urology, pain procedures, healthy peds, ENT, and endoscopy.

  • We’re seeking full-time and part-time CRNAs who are motivated to practice independently in a supportive, collaborative environment. Our group works across St. Joseph's Medical Center and St. Joseph's Surgery Center  
  • Ideal Candidates: Experienced CRNAs or new graduates ready to excel in an academic environment alongside an anesthesiology residency program.
