Responsibilities:

  • Apply knowledge and skills necessary to care for residents with therapeutic, neurological, dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care needs

  • Conduct daily rounds to assess residents’ physical and emotional well-being, address their needs, and implement appropriate interventions

  • Oversee direct resident care, including medication administration and treatments, ensuring accurate documentation

  • Delegate nursing and non-nursing duties to appropriate staff for the shift

  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and record in residents' health records

  • Collaborate with the Assistant Director of Nursing and/or Director of Nursing as an active member of the interdisciplinary team

  • Follow facility policies, procedures, and nursing philosophies, contributing to process improvements

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program

  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state where the facility is located
