Job Qualifications For Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): 

·       Must hold a Nursing Degree from an accredited program or college/university. 

·       A current, unencumbered, active North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. 

·       A current CPR certification. 

·       At least one year experience in Long Term Care 

Responsibilities For Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): 

·       Provides direct nursing care to residents in accordance with resident plan of care including but not limited to medication administration, assessments, wound care and documentation. 

·       Supervises the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Nursing Assistants. 

·       Monitor patient's condition and notify physician of any change.

Monitors and guides the completion of assessments in a timely manner. Involvement and supervision of inputting of MDS assessments, the transmission to the state, and obtains receipt of validation.
