JOB SUMMARY

Assists patient with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. Appropriately communicates changes in patient's clinical condition to the RN/LPN. Works with all staff to provide quality patient care.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent. Must hold a Certified Nursing Certificate within 120 days of being in this position.

Minimum Work Experience
Previous healthcare experience preferred.

Required Skills
Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire

Licenses: Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant for State of Tennessee within 120 days of being in this position.
