Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate Degree, required. Master's degree in NP program or post Master's NP program. As of January 1, 2005, all new NP graduates must have a Master's Degree. National certification required after January 1, 2000. Continuing education is mandatory for recertification and for continuing regulatory recognition to practice in the State.
  • Experience: One to three years of experience working in a physician practice setting, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current NP license in appropriate state, registry w/state medical bd, current DEA registry, required.
  • Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to work with management team and physicians; demonstrated customer service skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills.

Job Summary Novant Health Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Program is seeking an allogeneic transplanter. Opportunity Highlights: Novant Health System is searching for a Malignant Hematologist with a focus on acute leukemia and allogeneic transplant for their primary location in Winston-Salem, NC. We are a FACT accredited Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Program, performing autologous transplantation, CART cell therapy, and allogeneic transplant. Our program currently has eight physician providers and 15+ advanced practice providers (APPs) divided between the Charlotte and Winston-Salem sites. Although there is a high level of cross site collaboration, both sites operate independently for patient care including rounding and call coverage and providers cover just one site. The planned rounding and call schedule is 1:4 with the APPs taking 1st call. There is excellent support from the pathology department with two certified hematopathologists, blood bank, radiology, intensive care and other specialist services. With the addition of Dr. David Rizzieri, formerly of Duke University, to lead the Novant Health Cancer Institute, the successful candidate will join a robust and growing team of clinical researchers in Cellular and Immunotherapies.
