Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Ensure clinical operations and practice consistent with organizational objectives Collaborates with practice management to provide support on operational projects such as site Quality Committees, Quality Oncology Practice Initiative site assessments, Advancing Care Information, the Oncology Care Model (OCM), and other special projects as assigned. Facilitates the implementation and/or utilization of outcomes data and evidence-based practices Facilitates implementation of standardized best practices within the organization. Ensures practice standards of care are consistent with community standards of care. Ensures the incorporation of clinical evidence into existing and newly developed standards. Staff Development Assess staffing levels and issues, patient flow, current practices in the clinical setting. Assists with the development of company-wide clinical competency testing and skills validation programs. Ensure adequate staffing/FTEs for assigned clinics or region Maintains effective nursing staff coverage and operating costs for the practice and/or satellites within budgetary parameters. Demonstrates working knowledge of applicable labor laws and schedules and coordinates employee staffing including vacations, sick leave and overtime. Other duties as assigned.
