Requirements:

  • Graduation from an approved school for Nurse Practitioners OR Physician Assistant-Master’s Degree
  • Licensed or ability to obtain licensure in the state of Missouri
  • Previous Experience (1+ years as practicing APP) in primary care or similar setting is preferred

This position will provide culturally competent mental health care to patients in our FQHC sites in the Quincy area who are experiencing varying levels of difficulties due to life situations or mental health concerns and in need of medication evaluation and/or medication management services. I. TEACHING (5%) A. Teach and evaluate medical students, residents, physician assistants, and advanced Practice Nursing students as they rotate through the educational program. B. Role model provision of care by an advanced practice nurse focusing on mental health education and trauma. II. SERVICE (95%) A.
