Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Bariatrics at Portneuf Medical Group

Portneuf Medical Group seeks a clinically skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (1-2 years advanced practice experience) to join our Bariatric Surgery Clinic team. In this role, you will evaluate and manage non-surgical and surgical patients seeking weight loss management, and assist Bariatric Surgeons in the operating room.

 

About the Position:

  • Single Specialty Group; Hospital Employed
  • Join a bariatric team of 1 physician, 2 APP’s, 1 registered dietician, and support staff
  • Onsite testing and 4 procedure rooms available
  • Monday-Thursday 8-5; Friday 8-12, occasional weekend call
  • Expected Patient Load: 15-20 per day
  • Clinical call response required (rotating, occasional)
  • Full-Time
  • EMR: Epic

     

    Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of clinical practice experience as an NP or PA required
  • Surgical experience preferred
  • DEA License and Idaho Controlled Substance License are required
