The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is an ideal role for those looking to work with an interdisciplinary team to provide high quality patient care in the ambulatory setting.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes the nursing process as a systematic problem-solving approach to nursing care, facilitating an optimal level of functioning and health for the patient
  • Performs patient triage in person, via telephone and secure messages, utilizing protocols, guidelines, and standards
  • Utilizes assessment and analysis skills in delivering medical regimens as directed by physicians, advanced practice providers and registered nurses
  • Delegates selected patient care functions to others in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence
  • Collaborates with the clinic team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience and stewardship
  • Fosters a learning environment for patients, families, and all members of the health care team.
  • Advocates for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse in Washington State or Multistate license endorsement (MLS)
  • Current basic life support certification (BLS)
  • Two years of experience as an LPN - in a clinic setting preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations


We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $28.13 - $40.49 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
