Our Critical Care Unit staff provide around-the-clock high-quality care to patients to ensure appropriate and consistent care. Patients and their families can expect to receive sensitive, patient-centered medical care from our expert team of physicians and nursing staff. We are currently seeking experienced RNs for immediate full time flex day and night shift opportunities in our IMCU . Our ideal candidate will have 1-2 years current/recent Critical Care or IMCU experience. Must be able to handle the challenges of a busy fast-paced environment, be quick-thinking, with strong assessment skills, and have the ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure. DUTIES Responsible for the total care and treatment of patients with acute pulmonary, medical, surgical, and cardiac conditions. We’re looking for Experienced Emergency Room Nurses with current New York State license to take on the challenge of our fast-paced emergency room. Our ideal ER nurse will have no less than (5) years of inpatient clinical experience, be quick-thinking, with strong assessment skills, and the ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure. DUTIES Responsible for handling initial patient assessments, performing laboratory work, and point of care testing, and associated administrative tasks. Assessing and treating a wide variety of life-threatening and non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses Administering medication, cleaning lacerations, taking blood work, inserting IV’s, and assisting physicians in and out of the emergency room with patients in pain and with life-threatening trauma.
