POSITION SUMMARY Oversees the operations of the Nursing department, including the delivery of nursing services. Actively participates in the Performance Improvement and Risk Management programs. Interprets accreditation and regulatory standards and implements processes to ensure compliance. Develops and implements goals, policies and protocols. Serves as the Infection Prevention/Control Officer. Responsible for providing oversight and direction for the hospital Infection Prevention Program. Qualifications EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program, Master’s preferred. EXPERIENCE: 5 years of psychiatric nursing experience, with minimum of 3 years consisting of management/administrative/director of nursing experience.
