The Hospice Flex RN is dynamic depending on a regional office’s most urgent needs and can involve providing care to specific caseloads, completing visits for multiple case managers, assisting with new admissions and managing referrals, and participating in on-call rotations to ensure continuous patient care. A Registered Nurse in this position must possess strong assessment skills and a thorough understanding of disease processes, as well as the ability to manage symptoms proactively. Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members. The Hospice Flex RN must be able to work autonomously, handle various patient care scenarios with professionalism, and provide empathetic and compassionate care in emotionally challenging situations. Requirements A graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing. Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse through the Kentucky Board of Nursing or participating COMPACT state Board of Nursing. Provide care in a compassionate nature while serving a diverse population respectfully and professionally. Complies with accepted professional and ethical standards and principles. Requirements Is a graduate of a Master’s Degree in a Nursing Program. APRN certification as Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner.
