This APP team member will be deployed full-time within the Division of Rhinology. The Rhinology team includes four fellowship trained faculty surgeons and a dedicated clinical support staff (RN, coordinator, and medical assistant). Our team is a distinguished group of fellowship trained surgeons that practice the full spectrum of patient care related to conditions of the nose, sinuses and skull base. The APP will be fully integrated into a supportive care team model that strives for excellence within a rich and immersive clinical care environment. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing services independently and collaboratively with appropriate privileges, including initial and ongoing assessment, as well as diagnosis and treatment of the patient’s medical condition. Position Details: Full-time (1.0 CFTE), Outpatient Ambulatory APP, Day Shift, 40 hrs/week. This APP will hold a Teaching Associate faculty position in the Department of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery (ENT). This faculty position has an annual service period of 12-months (July 1 - June 30). The anticipated start date is March 1, 2026. New graduates are welcome to apply. Standards of Practice and Performance 1. Collaborate with an inter-professional team including surgeons, residents and fellows, nurses, medical assistants, and coordinators across a variety of medical and surgical sub-specialties to provide high quality patient- and family-centered care at the #1 Health Institution in the State of Washington (UW Medicine) and within a Nationally Ranked ENT Department. 2. Independently and collaboratively provide comprehensive care for patients with conditions that affect the nose, sinuses, and skull base. The APP will have a mix of independent and shared clinical deployment. 3. Deliver timely and problem-focused initial assessment of the patient’s medical condition. Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic imaging in a timely manner. Provide management and follow-up care for patients with disorders of the nose, sinuses, and skull base.
