HRI Hospital is 66-bed psychiatric facility with adult inpatient services and several partial hospitalization programs. The Nurse Educator is a full time, professional nurse position, providing discipline-focused orientation for nursing staff.
- Identify and assesses the education needs of clinical staff to ensure that they are competent to provide direct patient care
- Provide leadership to the nursing staff in the nursing care delivery system in accordance with Pembroke Hospital’s philosophy and established nursing standards of practice of care and policies and procedures
Provide infection control orientation for hospital staff
Provide leadership and consultation to staff to monitor infection control procedures in accordance with Hospital’s policies
Identify the occurrence of outbreaks or clusters of infectious diseases; monitors nosocomial infections and antibiotic usage

- MA RN License
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing Education: Masters Preferred
- Current CPR, Handle with Care certified preferred
- 2 years Inpatient Psychiatric Experience Preferred
