Responsibilities Registered Nurse (RN) - Admissions Opportunity
This full-time opportunity offers 40 hours per week, full benefits, and an a 8 hour evening shift schedule. There is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.
Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient treatment services to children, adolescents and adults at our 86-bed facility in Panama City, FL and outpatient services to adolescents and adults at our three outpatient centers located throughout the Florida Panhandle. Additionally, we offer specialized treatment for active duty military members through our Military Resiliency Program, specialized chemical dependency treatment and TMS therapy for chronic depression.

The Admissions RN assists the assigned Nursing Team to include but not limited to Initial Nurses Assessment, note orders, HCS orders, treatment plans and assist with staff breaks. Provides nursing coverage on units, as assigned. Provides leadership in maintaining standards for professional Nursing practice in the clinical setting. Provides medical management and assessment of patients. Ensures environmental safety. Works with the treatment team to provide a consistently therapeutic milieu.

Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Previous experience in behavioral health preferred
- Current FL RN License or Compact State License
- Ability to work Monday - Friday evening schedule (2:30pm - 11:00pm)
