Behavioral Health Assessment Job Summary
This position is responsible for answering inquiry calls; providing education about the Baker Act and referrals and triaging clients with mental health issues, as well as, setting appointments for and completing mental health, substance abuse, and physical assessments and making referrals to the most appropriate level of care including pre-certification and documentation. Required Qualifications
- Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) is required within specified timeframe as outlined in the New Hire BSN Agreement policy (126.045). Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications. Preferred Education
- Prefer the ability to do blood draws.
