ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary:
The RN Staff Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population in order to achieve desired outcomes. This position directs and oversees the care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination. This position effectively coordinates patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services. The RN Staff Nurse reports to the Nurse Manager.
QualificationsPosition Qualifications:
- Graduate of a NLN/AACN accredited program in nursing
- 2 years’ ED experience required
- Experience with electronic health records a plus
- Current valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license required
- Maintains American Heart Association Basic Life Support HCP Certification
- Advance Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advance Life Support ( PALS) and TNCC
- Intravenous Certification, EKG interpretation
