Job Description:Assists RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category.
Education Qualifications:Graduate of accredited practical nursing program or medical assistant Program Graduate of an approved LPN program or medical assistant (MA) program.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:Current Licensed Practical Nurse in appropriate state OR current certification as a medical assistant. Medical Assistants hired before July 1st, 2015 have 1 year from date of hire or transfer to achieve certification as a medical assistant.
BLS required or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.

$19.35 - $29.02 / hourThe approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
