Job Description:Seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant or non-certified Nursing Assistant to manage transport duties at our 32nd Avenue Building in Fargo. Hours are 7:30 am to 8:00 pm, with a mix of 4-hour, 8-hour, and 12-hour shifts, including weekend and holiday rotations. This is a flex position that will work around 48 hours biweekly, but this schedule will 'flex' up to 16 more or fewer hours per two-week pay period based on need. As a flex employee, you will qualify for full-time benefits. In this role, you will facilitate a lot of patient transports. You will also round on all the units and assists with ADLs. This position requires someone who is highly motivated and independent. This NA or CNA is responsible for providing direct care to patients and serving the needs of patients in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort, under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager, Assistant Head Nurse, and/or Department Director (possibly with guidance from an LPN) to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Duties will vary by patient care unit/department and include but are not limited to: Providing personal hygiene care, assisting with nutritional needs, providing comfort care and other assistance, appropriately and safely transferring patients, taking vital signs and completing recordkeeping, recognizing and promptly reporting changes in patient condition to the RN, and maintaining a safe, clean environment for patients to promote the healing process. Works within job scope to meet the requirements of the Joint Commission and other applicable federal, state and local regulatory and accrediting agencies.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:- Certified Nursing Assistant or registered as a non-certified Nurse Assistant through the North Dakota Department of Health within three months of date of employment.
- BLS certification required within 3 months after hire.
