Statement of Purpose:
The Registered Nurse maintains responsibility for the provision of professional nursing care demonstrated through the nursing process involving assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation and evaluation.The Registered Nurse must demonstrate a competent level of behavior in a professional role, including activities related to promotion of quality of care, performance appraisal, education, collegiality, ethics, collaboration, research and resource utilization (Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice - ANA, 2010).

Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Certification / License: Current RN Licensure in Massachusetts. Current CPR skills and ACLS certifications.

ACLS not required on these floors: 5th Floor, 4th Floor, Consigli, Infusion, IV, Wound Care

ACLS required on these floors only: ICU, Draper PCU, MP-1, Gannett, Float Pool, Endoscopy, Cardiac Cath Lab

Experience: ICU experience required.

MRMC Differentials:
Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
