Statement of Purpose:
Under the direction of the director of diagnostic imaging, the radiologists and the referring physicians, the registered nurse maintains responsibility for the provision of professional nursing care demonstrated through the nursing process involving assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation and evaluation. The registered nurse must demonstrate a competent level of behavior in a professional role – including activities related to promotion of quality of care, performance appraisal, education, collegiality, ethics, collaboration, research and resource utilization (standards of Clinical Nursing Practice p ANA, 1993).
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing for Registered Nurses (Associate Degree, Diploma, BSN)
Certification / License: Current RN license in Massachusetts, current CPR Skills, current ACLS certification
Experience: Minimum or 1 year experience in emergency care preferred
Previous ICU/critical care or completed coronary care course considered, experience in conscious sedation and cardiac monitoring preferred.
MRMC Differentials:
Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
