Job Summary
The intern will work closely with the Commercial Product Management group at Priority Health to help enhance and grow our portfolio of existing product solutions. The ideal candidate will be forward thinking, able to focus on detailed level work, and interested in understanding the bigger picture of how our products work to meet our customer’s needs. Key projects for this individual will include supporting the Small Group ACA filing, completing templates and updating and auditing plan documents based on product portfolio changes and helping our sales team understand Priority Health products better.
Our interns must live within the State of Michigan to assume this role.
This position is a Flexible-Virtual role with occasional On-Site team meetings.
We will need the intern to be able to start as soon as possible, ideally before Summer 2023 with the anticipation of being employed through the end of the calendar year.
Essential Functions
- Maintains accountability for completing support tasks as directed.
- Maintains clear and appropriate documentation of actions taken.
- May analyzes department processes and other Spectrum Health systems encountered and makes recommendations improvements, as appropriate. Participates in quality monitoring activities/process improvement activities.
- Communicates, collaborates, and acts as a team player with others in order to ensure continuity and coordination of services.
Qualifications
Required High School Diploma or equivalent Currently enrolled in a university pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in area of accountability. May also be a recent graduate from an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program.
Preferred Master's Degree in Healthcare administration or a related field
