Pay: Based on experience, starting at: $32.50 + per hour.
Description
Sign-On Bonus:
$2,500 for 0-23 months of experience
$3,750 for 24+months experience
To assess, plan, coordinate and manage the care of patients with complex wounds, various types of fecal and urinary diversions and fistulas with the interdisciplinary team to facilitate desired outcomes across the continuum of care. Facilitate the development and evaluation of standards of practices as it relates to policy and procedure. Provide quality patient care in regards to the standards of practice. Provide education regarding wound assessment, documentation, wound measurement, various treatments options and nutritional components to the patients, family and staff members.
Qualifications
Current Illinois RN license, BSN and CWOCN board certification required or willing to achieve certification within 2 years. Ability to prioritize independently, adapt quickly to changes daily, and ability to work in a fast paced environment. Have the desire to continue professional growth through participation in professional organizations, keeping current with latest research in the literature and participating in educational seminars within the area. Effective communication, nursing, and basic computer skills required. Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Providers) required.
