Education and Experience Required:
Four (4) years of RN experience including one (1) year of leadership experience in nursing, process improvement, or quality improvement.
Certifications, Licenses, or Registration required:
Valid RN license.

Responsibilities
- Manages the resources necessary to implement and sustain the nursing quality and patient safety program in alignment with organizational goals.
- Partners with leaders in the CMO office, including Risk Management, Performance Improvement, and Quality, to drive patient safety priorities, standardize care practices, and prevent harm events.
- Deploys nursing quality and patient safety science principles, theories, methods, standards, and regulatory requirements to build and maintain safe processes and systems.
- Promotes quality and patient safety accountability by educating, engaging, and training staff in related initiatives. Applies change management principles to ensure successful implementation of new processes and improvements.
- Measures performance and clinical outcomes by identifying trends, analyzing dashboards and data, and tracking progress against national and organizational goals and benchmarks. Develops strategies for achieving and sustaining quality and patient safety objectives.
- Serves as a leading advocate for nursing quality and patient safety.
- Supports and sustains a transparent and just environment that promotes learning, safe systems, and accountability.
- Identifies opportunities to enhance patient- and family-centered care by staying current with relevant literature and applying consumer patient safety tools as appropriate.
