The unit supports individuals recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. With access to advanced diagnostic imaging—including X-rays, CT, ultrasound, and MRI—and laboratory studies, the Medical Surgical Unit ensures thorough assessment and ongoing monitoring of patients. The unit contains an interdisciplinary team of Hospitalists, Nurses, Care Coordinators, Physical Therapist, Respiratory Therapist who work closely together to admit stabilized patients who require continued medical management or post-operative care, providing a seamless transition for those brought in by EMS or transferred from surrounding counties.
