Licensed Practical Nurse / Part Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at North Beach Rehabilitation Center in North Miami Beach, Florida. As a part-time LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality skilled nursing and rehabilitation care to our residents. Responsibilities:

Provide skilled nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and mobility assistance
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the Charge Nurse and other healthcare professionals
Participate in quality patient assessment, planning, and evaluation
Collaborate with physical, occupational, and speech therapists to develop and implement treatment plans
Provide emotional support and advocacy to residents and their families

Requirements:

Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Florida
1 year of experience as an LPN
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care

Provides patient/resident/family/caregiver education as directed. Conducts self in a professional manner in compliance with unit and facility polices. Works rotating shifts, holidays and weekends as scheduled. Initiates emergency support measure (i.e., CPR, protects patient/residents from injury).
