Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:As a Clinician (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) you will:

  • Examine patients and compile patient medical data and examination results
  • Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory tests
  • Compile patient medical data, including health history and physical examination results; interpret diagnostic test results for deviations
  • Perform therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and managing infections

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Zero to two years of clinical experience in a primary care specialty and/or occupational medicine clinic
  • Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner program
  • Skilled in the treatment of minor trauma and orthopedic injuries

We primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) in the State of Pennsylvania on an "as needed basis". We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following: U.S. Army Reserve (USAR) Army National Guard (ARNG) U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR) U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES) U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR) Air National Guard (ANG) U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR) Responsibilities: Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
