Key Responsibilities: Registered Nurse RN

As a Registered Nurse, you will be crucial to the clinical oversight and quality of care for our residents. Your core duties include:

  • Daily Documentation: Perform comprehensive daily documentation of resident care, status, and changes in condition accurately and completely, adhering to all facility and regulatory guidelines.

  • Order Management: Meticulously transcribe physicians’ orders to MAR’s (Medication Administration Records) and treatment sheets, ensuring attention to detail.

  • Communication: Promptly notify pharmacy of new orders and effectively communicate any significant changes in resident status to the physician, family, and Director of Nursing.

  • Medication & Treatment: Safely and accurately prepare and administer medications and perform treatments as ordered by the physician.

  • Supervision: Provide clinical oversight and supervision to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) on your assigned unit.

  • Patient Assessment: Monitor and assess residents' physical and emotional well-being throughout your shift, performing thorough and timely assessments.

  • All other clinical and administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications: Registered Nurse RN

  • Must possess an Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing in the state of Wisconsin.

  • Demonstrated ability to exercise strong leadership, critical thinking, and clinical judgment.

  • Prior experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, or sub-acute setting is highly valued.
