SUMMARY
The Registered Nurse is a professional who assumes responsibility for providing and supervising the delivery of quality patient care within the framework of Anderson Healthcare. The RN uses initiative, independent judgment, and professional skills in utilizing the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the nursing care rendered. The RN is responsible for their own actions and competencies. The RN will apply the Nursing Process while incorporating instruction, teaching, and discharge planning into the care of each patient. The RN fosters the mission statement and initiatives of Anderson Healthcare and Community Hospital Staunton by demonstrating compassion, competence, collaboration, and creativity.

- 8 HOUR DAY SHIFTS 0645-1515
- EVERY OTHER WEEKEND, EVERY OTHER HOLIDAY
- CRITICAL ACCESS MEDICAL FLOOR WITH TELEMETRY
- SKILLED SWING BED PROGRAM
Qualifications
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Active Illinois license.
- Active licenses in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. (ability to obtain prior to end of orientation)
Must have sound knowledge of general nursing theory and practice, familiarity with organization, functions, policies, regulations, and procedures of the nursing service department and Anderson Healthcare. Good oral/written communication, critical thinking, and time management are necessary. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the different age groups of those served in the nursing department.
