Purpose of Your Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Job Position

The primary purpose of your position as a Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN in the Nursing Home environment is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by CNAs and other nursing personnel. To monitor the performance of CNAs, nursing and non-licensed personnel, Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN provide education and counseling, perform disciplinary action as necessary, and complete performance evaluations. · Documents assessments and care in compliance with standards of care and company policy.

· Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
