Summary

SUMMARY: Under the direction of the cancer center administrator or nurse leader, provide patients and caregivers a cohesive understanding of the complex cancer care continuum. Gathers all necessary information prior to a patient appointment with the medical oncologist to ensure timely access to high quality medical care.

EXPERIENCE: Two years oncology nursing experience (Med Onc, Rad Onc, or Surgical Onc)

SPECIAL SKILLS: Chemotherapy experience strongly preferred

OTHER: Basic computer skills, exceptional customer service skills

LICENSE/CERT: Required: RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri, BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)

EDUCATION: Required: Associates - Nursing, Preferred: Bachelors - Nursing
