Overview:

Are you seeking a flexible incentivized Registered Nurse position? Ability to pick up day shift OR night shift- whatever works best for you! No weekend, holiday, or shift requirement. Participation in the Gig Nursing Program requires being responsible for scheduling a minimum number of hours, being available on short notice, being flexible and subject to last minute shift cancellation. The Gig Nursing Program does not offer guaranteed shift hours and will be the first for cancellation.

Qualifications:

Required Education:
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
Licensure:
- Is responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
Experience:
- One year of recent bed-side RN experience to work Med Surg.
- For all other specialties, a minimum of two years of recent bed-side RN experience.
Certifications:
- BLS, ACLS, & PALS
Preferred Experience:
- Epic experience

The Intake Clinician responds to inquiry calls, conducts initial intake assessments, provide referrals, and coordinate admissions process according to Joint Commission, Federal and State Regulations, Oceans' Mission, policies and procedures and Performance Improvement Standards. Essential Functions: Responds to inquiry calls, completes inquiry forms accurately, schedules assessments in a timely manner and documents follow up calls made regarding pending assessments. Conducts assessments at facility or other locations, completes Comprehensive Interdisciplinary Assessments Initial Triage thoroughly. Refers patients who are not appropriate for facility programs to appropriate resources. Coordinates pre-certification process, admissions process for patients admitted to facility programs, including admission forms, CIAs, and documents pertinent UR information.
