Experienced Clinical Nurse - Main Operating Room - Head and Neck / Plastics Schedule includes three 12-hour and one rotating 8-hour day shifts with days off TBD based on institutional needs. The first 4-6 months will include Operating Room Orientation, Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm. The mission of The University of Texas M. D. SUMMARY: The primary purpose of the Clinical Nurse position with the GYN, Genitourinary, Thoracic and Vascular is to positively affect patient outcomes by providing, coordinating, and supporting evidence based direct patient care across the continuum of care. The highest quality of patient care and the appropriate use of resources is achieved in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. The Clinical Nurse in the Operating Room must have at least one year of nursing experience in the Operating Room. The ideal candidate will have recent Operating Room experience in ENT and Plastics utilizing free flap procedures.
