Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities include: 

  • Performs duties in accordance with accepted standards of resident care. Duties include assisting with dressing, grooming, bathing, and escorts and transfers 
  • Assists residents with nutritional needs, including setting dining tables, serving meals, providing proper fluid requirements, and offering substitutions when appropriate
  • Reminding residents to take medication and opening containers and packages for residents
  • Recognizes changes in the residents' behavior and conditions and reports those changes to the Assisted Living Director

Qualifications:

This position focuses on improving residents' quality of life through mobility training, exercise programs, and support for daily living activities. Key Responsibilities: Implement individualized restorative care plans as prescribed by licensed staff to meet residents’ rehabilitation goals. Range of Motion Splint or Brace Assistance (Amputation/Prosthetic Care) Functional Mobility (transfers, bed mobility, ambulation) Activities of Daily Living (dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting) Eating and/or swallowing (Restorative/Assisted Dining/Free Water) Communication, breath support, and wellness Assist residents in mobility exercises, walking programs, range-of-motion exercises, and use of adaptive equipment.
