Responsibilities

Located in downtown Fresno, Community Regional Medical Center is the flagship hospital of the region and home to the only Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Comprehensive Burn Center between Los Angeles and Sacramento. This facility provides advanced, high-acuity care for the Central Valley’s most complex cases. As an Allied Health Practitioner in Endoscopy, you’ll collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to evaluate patients, recommend treatment, and ensure seamless care across specialties.

Collaborate with physicians to evaluate patients, interpret test results, and develop individualized care plans that support diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.

Coordinate patient care across specialties, acting as a liaison between providers, patients, and families to ensure clear communication and timely referrals.

Contribute to clinical improvement by developing and maintaining protocols that enhance the patient and provider experience.

Participate in continuous quality improvement and research efforts, helping advance clinical practices, continuing to advance the golden standard of care that Community is known for.

Be part of a team advancing patient care as part of the Central Valley’s largest healthcare system.

This position offers a unique schedule: one week of 24/7 call coverage, followed by the next week off.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program required

Credentialed by the CHS Medical Staff Office as an Allied Health Professional and privileged to perform Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant standardized procedures required

2 years clinical experience in area specialty required

Licenses and Certifications

NP - Current State of California Nurse Practitioner License required and

NPF - Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number required or

PA - State of California Physician Assistant License

BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
