HSHS is recruiting a BC/BE Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Orthopedic Surgery team in Litchfield. HSHS St. Francis Hospital is an affiliate of Hospital Sisters Health System.


Practice Highlights:

- Monday - Friday weekly schedule with administrative time provided daily.

- No holidays or weekends

- EPIC EMR

- Clinic is on the hospital campus, providing access to all imaging, labs, scans, etc. needed. Physical therapy and x-rays available in clinic.

- Training time provided with the Orthopedic Surgeon onsite


Position Requirements:

- Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start

- Board Certified

- 2+ years of provider work experience is strongly preferred.

*Experience in Orthopedics is preferred, but experience in other specialties will also be considered.

Education Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nursing is required.

  • Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

  • Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.
  • Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or
  • Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred.
  • Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred.
  • Federal DEA license is preferred.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.
