7pm-7:30am Campus Supervisor

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Campus Supervisor provides direct supervision campus-wide to all staff on a given shift.  Provides physical assessments of residents, implements resident's treatment plan, evaluates response to treatment, provides complete documentation, administers medications as prescribed and provides health care education for residents and families.  Performs duties in accordance with the ANA Standards of Practice for Psychiatric Mental Health Care, and facility mission, values, policies, and behavioral standards.

We can help patients regain their sense of self-worth. Our adult inpatient mental health treatment is for individuals over the age of 18 with severe mental illness that is impacting their ability to function.

Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient and residential treatment services for ages 5-17. Our treatment programs provide a structured and supportive treatment environment that promotes self-acceptance and helps stabilize patients suffering from acute psychiatric illness. Our multidisciplinary treatment teams consist of psychiatrists, licensed therapists and highly specialized nurses who collaborate to develop and implement effective and compassionate treatment plans for our patients. Cedar Ridge is a behavioral health facility that encompasses a 116-bed acute psychiatric hospital and residential treatment center on a beautifully wooded campus with a stocked pond, school, outdoor courtyard and playground.

Qualifications

  • Valid licensure and registration by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing as a registered nurse required
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years prior clinical experience required
  • Recent psychiatric nursing experience required
  • Minimum one (1) year of supervisor experience required
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
  • BSN or Master’s degree preferred
  • CPR certification within 30 days of employment
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Successfully complete a drug test
  • Successfully pass a national background check
  • Physical agility to manage patients
  • Ability to push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds
  • Strong Computer skills
  • Excellent Communication skills

Transcribes and implements physician's orders according to facility policy; documents care, progress, response to intervention in medical record in an accurate, thorough and concise manner. Follows up on client care responsibilities, communicates incomplete assignments, and current client needs to staff to assure continuity of care. Implements staff assignments and delegation of duties using appropriate judgment and knowledge; Demonstrates positive willingness to assist staff and patients; functions as an advocate for patient needs/safety Utilizes nursing knowledge to successfully meet the needs of the facility, patient population, and staff members utilizes nursing resources to enhance evidence-based practice Float among various clinical services, where qualified and competent and performs other duties and projects as assigned.
