Responsibilities

Assists in patient care throughout nursing areas, and is responsible for the safe transport of patients via wheelchair or stretcher, dispatch services and appropriate documentation of services. Provides the services of an observer for any patient on a patient care unit who has been assessed to require constant observation in order to maximize his/her safety. Performs general receptionist and clerical duties in order to facilitate efficient functioning of the clinic.

1. High School Diploma required

2. Certification as a Medical Assistant or a Registered Medical Assistant within 2 years of hire

3. 1-2 years in general or healthcare office, preferred.

4. Strong experience in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint, preferred.

5. Must exhibit a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

6. Knowledge of medical terminology and medical staff services department and/or acute care hospital experience, preferred.

7. BLS certification 8. Needs to be an experienced caregiver and have practical office training,

This position seeks a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide dedicated healthcare support for a K-12 student with complex medical needs in a full-time, contract role in Medford, MA. The RN will be responsible for managing a one-on-one caseload involving seizure medication administration, tracheostomy care, suctioning, and gastrostomy tube (G-tube) feeding. The nurse will also accompany the student during bus transportation to and from school, ensuring continuous medical support. Key Responsibilities: Administer seizure medications as prescribed and monitor the student's response. Provide tracheostomy and suctioning care according to medical guidelines. FT and PRN opportunities are available! ABOUT BAPTIST URGENT CARE: Baptist Urgent Care, with 10 locations in Tennessee and Mississippi, is an affiliate of Urgent Team, one of the largest independent operators of urgent and family care centers in the Southeast. JOB SUMMARY: The Medical Assistant/X-Ray Tech or Radiology Tech will be responsible for greeting patients, activating patient files and providing support to patients and medical staff. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive. Other duties may be assigned. • Promptly greets patients when entering waiting area, exam room, and laboratory or x-ray room. • Consistently communicates with patients on wait times; provides direction to the next step in the treatment process • Provides solutions to patient problems and recognizes and seeks help in emergent / hazardous situations. • Provides timely follow up regarding lab and x-ray results. • Executes follow-up calls with sense of urgency. • Assists front desk personnel with patient check in/out procedures when necessary. • Obtains and accurately documents patient vital signs and weight, takes brief history, past medical, family and social history current medications, allergies and other pertinent historical information as appropriate. • Assists with patient transfers. • Assists with procedures directly supervised by the provider. • Assists in lab procedures under the supervision of the provider. • Prepares patients for radiologic procedures and follows established clinical and regulatory procedures in regards to patient safety and care; including proper radiation protection and shielding techniques. • Ensures that equipment is in proper working order and reports any malfunctions to the Regional Operation Manager or provider on duty. • Follows documentation procedures and completes required documentation related to patient visit. • Maintains examination room and stocks if necessary. • Adheres to infection control/safety guidelines and patient confidentiality policies. • Perform phlebotomy, injections, medical procedures and laboratory procedures appropriate for level of training under the direction of a provider.
