Overview

Job Summary

Coordinates and provides care utilizing the critical thinking framework known as the nursing process. The nursing process forms the foundation of the nurse's decision making to help partner with patients/families to attain, maintain and restore health whenever possible. Blends caring, compassion, knowledge and integrity to provide safe quality care that preserves patient autonomy, dignity and rights. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Skills * Bedside nurse experience strongly preferred. * Experience with geriatrics/residential facility/skilled nursing facility a must * Case management (care plan development) * Phone triage with clinical provider or patient * Minimum of 3 years' experience preferred The individual should possess the following attributes * Excellent conversational and active listening skills * Ability to motivate and empathize with patients and their families * Customer service orientation * Dedicated, reliable, punctual, and flexible * Triage/de-escalation skills * Maryland license preferred , US nursing license required . This position is full-time, and hours may evolve. The ideal candidate would be willing to consider 12 hour shifts , but would start with 8 hour shifts, Sunday-Thursday (8:30-4:30 EST).
