The Assessment Clinician is responsible for interviewing incoming patients and completing a bio/social assessment.  Presents the assessment findings to the physician in order determine programming level. The Clinician also transitions the patient into the care of Nursing Staff.

Qualifications

Education & License: The candidate can have a nursing degree (Associates, BSN or MSN) with an Ohio issued RN license OR MSW, LSW or LISW OR BSW, LSW

Previous experience in a mental health or substance abuse treatment facility is preferred for this position.

This individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Diplomacy and discretion are essential, as well as excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects.  Professional demeanor and appearance required.
