Inova Cardiology Services is looking for a dedicated Cardiology RN Outpatient to join the team. This role will be Full-time, day shift Monday- Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

Job Responsibilities For The Cardiology Nurse Include

Patient education Answering patient questions pre- and post-surgery
Coordinating patient readiness and care throughout the clinic
Stress Testing (Regular, Echo and Nuclear)
Helping patients manage INR
Oversee clinical workflow and work collaboratively with team

This is a fast-paced service line and part of a growing practice. Inova Cardiology is a team of board-certified Physicians and Surgeons, Nurse Practitioners, RNs and LPNs and MAs dedicated to bringing compassionate, comprehensive clinical care to our patients.

Additional Requirements

Experience: 0 years of registered nurse clinical experience.

Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

Certification: BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required

Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN

Preferred Qualifications

Experience: Greater than one year of RN experience in addition to prior Cardiology Nursing background such as in IMCU, PCU, Tele, CVICU is preferred.
