WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?

In your role as a full- or part-time caregiver at Legacy Retirement Residence of Mesa, each day offers a rewarding opportunity to enhance the lives of residents through compassionate, hands-on care. You assist with daily activities while upholding their dignity and privacy, responding to personal needs with grace, and fostering their independence. Serving meals with elegance, you nourish not just their bodies but also their spirits with engaging conversation. You thoughtfully document the care provided, communicate any health concerns to the Resident Care Coordinator, and maintain the highest standards of hygiene and appearance. Every interaction is infused with respect and confidentiality, creating a warm community where love and support allow our cherished residents to thrive.

  • Current food handler's permit
  • CPR and first-aid certification
  • Fingerprint Clearance card
  • Ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, supervisors, and employees
  • Willingness to work with the elderly
  • Completion of a certified caregiver course approved by the State of Arizona. If you don't have this, don't worry! We will assist you in completing the certification course!
