Summary/Objective The Nurse will be clinically competent while delivering care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. RNs and LPNs will effectively interact with patients, significant others and other health team members while maintaining all standards of professional nursing. Ensure that supplies and equipment necessary for patient care are stored in an organized and efficient manner. Demonstrate correct and safe technique in the use of equipment according to specific product information. Summary/Objective The clinic Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for patient preparation, administrating all nursing duties as designated by the medical provider, and maintenance of patient records. Accepting responsibility and performing duties so as to operate the clinic in an efficient, economical and business-like manner are of utmost importance. Essential Functions Prepares the patient for each visit with the medical provider according to the reason for the visit. Gives injections, performs dressing changes, and attends to all nursing/assistant duties as prescribed by the medical provider. Assist with outpatient surgery scheduling and patient education. Assist with Tele-Health patient appointments, including being able to access patient information on the website and utilizing the Tele-Health equipment.
